- Plan and prepare for stockpiling operations
- Access, interpret and apply stockpiling operations documentation and ensure the work activity is compliant
- Obtain, interpret and clarify work requirements
- Access, interpret and apply geological and survey data required to complete the allocated work
- Carry out worksite inspection and rectify or report hazards and/or other notifiable conditions
- Communicate with other personnel using approved communication methods
- Select and wear personal protective equipment
- Identify, address and report environmental issues
- Confirm stockpile boundaries and signage are erected
- Access and apply safety information and procedures throughout the work, and ensure safety of personnel, plant and equipment
- Stockpile materials
- Coordinate activities with others at the site prior to commencement of, and during, the work activity
- Carry out pre-start, start-up, park-up and shutdown procedures
- Operate plant and equipment
- Act on and report on monitoring systems and alarms
- Stockpile materials in specified location
- Inspect stockpile structure and surrounding area, and address issues
- Identify and manage contaminants to protect quality of material and protect equipment and environment
- Construct stockpile according to site stockpile plan
- Ensure stockpile has adequate drainage to minimise contamination of stockpile and surrounding areas
- Maintain pad according to site parameters
- Recognise and respond to hazardous and emergency situations
- Complete all written documentation clearly, concisely and on time
- Record/pass on end of shift information
- Carry out post-operational procedures
